Huge WWII and Military history buff. Father was a West Pointer and from that sprung an insatiable acquisition of books on the bravery and the heroics of battle written in all formats. Especially focused on WWII but love to read any book written about the human spirit and over coming incredible odds. Human beings finding strength and courage to conquer the impossible while facing their mortality. I find that the greatest generation is was and will forerver be the measure of warriors called to action and stepping up to thwart evil and when finished and lucky to have survived helped to rebuild America and bring her back from the great depression. Most recent book read. "A Higher Call" book on order "Dog Company" The Boys of Poinet Du Hoc. Can't wait to read the Heaton-Lewis book on the "Star of Africa" after reading "A Higher Call" Hans Marseille is written about with quite a bit of detail.
