Five Years to Freedom

On October 29, 1963, Special Forces officer James Rowe was captured after a firefight. He would spend over five years living in a bamboo cage, until fortune smiled on him, and he made his daring escape on December 31, 1968. His experiences saw him create the military SERE School (Survive, Escape, Resist, Evade). His amazing story was published as his autobiography, Five Years to Freedom, and we plan on bringing his story to the screen.
